• A force sensitive resistor with a square, 1.75×1.5″, sensing area.
• This FSR will vary its resistance depending on how much pressure is being applied to the sensing area.
• The harder the force, the lower the resistance.
• When no pressure is being applied to the FSR its resistance will be larger than 1 Megaohm.
• This FSR can sense applied force anywhere in the range of 100g-10kg.
• Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with 0.1″ pitch making it bread board friendly. There is a peel-and-stick rubber backing on the other side of the sensing area to mount the FSR.
• These sensors are simple to set up and great for sensing pressure, but they aren’t incredibly accurate. Use them to sense if it’s being squeezed, but you may not want
