Product Description

Product Features:

• Ramps 3D printer controller 1.4 year interfaces for Arduino mega2560 board. Modular design includes pluggable stepper drivers and extruder control electronics on an Arduino compatible MEGA shield for easy service, part replacement, upgrade capability and expansion

• With LCD 12864, you can easily connect it to your ramps board using the included “smart adapter”. After connecting this panel to your ramps, you no longer need your pc, the smart controller powers your SD card. In addition, all actions such as calibration, axis movements can be performed by simply using the rotary encoder on the smart controller. Print your 3D designs without a PC, just with a g-code design stored on the SD card.

• It is designed to fit all of the electronics needed for a RepRap in a small, low cost package

Warning:

1) The maximum power for these ramps is 12V and the maximum watts are around 180W. The maximum watts for the fireplace are around 100W and the maximum temperature is only 50 degrees Celsius.

2) Do not plug or unplug the wire or module when the power is on, don’t even touch the board when the power is on or your hand has a static charge (you can remove the static charge by touching the metal tap).

3) Always check that the power wire is correctly installed. If you do not follow the above movement, you can damage the control board and your 3D printer.

4) Please confirm that the A4988 driver installs correctly on the ramps1.4 board.

5) the endstop pins are Signal-GND-VCC, instead of vcc-signal-gnd like the rest of the RepRaps boards. Make sure to wire them correctly. This is done to allow larger traces to be pressed onto the printable board.

6) Do not secure the Arduino / ramps with conductive screws through the two mounting holes. The screw may cut in the positive trace creating a high current short circuit.

7) Thoroughly test all electronic devices before putting them into service.

8) Do not leave the power supply supplied to electronics unattended, or operate machines unattended due to the risk of fire and malfunction.

9) Once you start putting electricity into your RepRap – itself at just 12 volts – you need to take basic precautions and common sense to avoid fires. Just in case these fall off. Test your workshop smoke detector.
